Villa Giglio is a splendid 18th century villa. It is situated within a farm that produces wine and olive oil of an excellent quality. From the entrance of the farm, a little road lined with cypress trees passes by the different farmhouses and the tennis court and leads to a little square where the villa is situated. The villa forms the nucleus of the farm and is surrounded by the other buildings of the farm: the offices of the property, the wine cellars, and the farmhouses with several holiday apartments that are rented on a weekly basis. Therefore, although the villa is independent, it is not isolated. It shares the open spaces and the garden with the other guests of the farm and it is surrounded by the estate's agricultural activities. Villa Giglio is not suited for guests that prefer total isolation. But it is the ideal place for spending a holiday in an elegant villa with all comforts while being in contact with the rural reality of Tuscany.

The villa extends on two floors.

On the ground floor, there is:

a library / living room,

a spacious living room with an exit on a terrace,

another living room with exit to the terrace,

a completely equipped kitchen,

a rustic dining room,

and a double bedroomwith bathroom (with shower).

On the first floor, there is:

the main living room with a billiard table,

4 double bedrooms

2 twin-bedded rooms, each of the bedrooms with private bathroom (3 bathrooms with shower and 3 bathrooms with bathtub).

The villa is equipped with telephone, dishwasher, washing machine, and satellite TV.
At extra cost, it is possible to have an extra cleaning service and to employ the service of our excellent chef who will spoil you with Tuscan specialities.

Every Tuesday, the farm organises a wine tasting for the guests that is free of charge.
Every Thursday, the farm proposes a dinner in the common farmyard at extra costs that should be booked in advance.

A large and beautiful garden surrounds the villa. With its little paths delimited by hedges and its flowerbeds, the garden is a typical example of 18th century gardening. In the lower part of the garden, there is a lovely swimming pool for the exclusive use of the guests of the villa. The pool offers a beautiful panorama on the surrounding hills, and it overlooks a second pool which is used by the guests of the farmhouse apartments.

Villa Giglio is situated at a distance of 3 km from the village of Montespertoli, the famous "wine town", where there are different stores, banks, and a pharmacy. In the area, there are some excellent restaurants. The personnel of the farm, which will be at your disposal for any necessity, will be glad to give you all the relevant indications. Tuscany's famous cities are easily reachable: Florence is at distance of 25 km, Volterra at 20 km, San Gimignano at 20 km, Pisa at 50 km, Lucca at 60 Km, and Siena at 60 Km.
